Industrial
Sites
Umpqua Economic Development Partnership, serving Douglas County, has a number of industrial park sites available now for industrial, distribution and manufacturing companies. Douglas County owns all of the property in the current parks, which enables them to be a strong partner in the development process. Currently, the Douglas County Industrial Development Board is preparing the sites for shovel ready development, with some of the sites already being on the State of Oregon's list of Certified Sites. A Certified Industrial site demonstrates to prospective clients a certainty that they can purchase a parcel of land and build on the site within 180 days. The prospective company does not need to spend valuable time and finances on getting the site ready for construction. The land within the parks can be modified to best suit each company's site requirements.
The partnership
can assist companies with site selection, budgeting and financing
to make the process as efficient as possible. The properties are
generally priced below market value to encourage job creation through
business expansion and or relocation to the area.
