Douglas County Location

Interstate 5, which passes through the middle of the Umpqua Valley Region, runs the entire length of the West Coast and is part of the Interstate System of highways that provides connections with similar high-ways throughout the nation. It provides fast connections to all major population centers on the West Coast; Roseburg is within an eight-hour drive of both Seattle and San Francisco. The Oregon International Port of Coos Bay, a deep draft port of international significance 85 miles west of Roseburg, is accessed by State Highway 42, which connects with I-5 at Winston.

I-5 puts the Umpqua Valley Region in a superior position for servicing the Pacific Coast - from British Columbia, Canada, to Mexico. Door-to-door, second morning service is available to a market of over 30 million people.
